Many blood drives have been cancelled, so your individual donations matter now more than ever.

- Blood donation is essential.
- Vitalant (formerly Blood Bank of the Redwoods and Blood Centers of the Pacific) is taking additional safety measures due to COVID-19.

- Fast Track – Donors can complete the health history questionnaire online prior to arriving to the drive. The questionnaire must be completed the same day as the donation (only) and barcode needs to be presented at the drive.
- Due to distancing, we are asking that everyone arrive for their appointment on time.
- The donation process takes about an hour. With social distancing, it might be a little longer.
- Donors should arrive well hydrated and nourished, and wearing a mask or cloth based face covering (we’ll be wearing them too). Volunteers will also be wearing them.
- Donors need photo identification with first and last name.
- If you received the COVID-19 vaccine(s), or participated in a COVID-19 vaccine trial, you ARE eligible to donate blood if you meet all general blood donation criteria.
