Scholarships

The Petaluma Woman’s Club has long made education one of its primary concerns. Since 1949 PWC has awarded scholarships for post-secondary education – to two-year community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, or vocational training schools.

$1000 Scholarships

Scholarships will be awarded to young women who will graduate in June 2026 from a Petaluma high school and who plan to further their education at a two or four year college/university or accredited vocational school.  Suggested GPA is 2.5 or with significant challenges that affected your GPA

Applicants are to submit two documents: a completed application and a letter of recommendation from a person who knows you well but is not a member of your family. Download and complete the application, save it as a pdf file and paste it into an email with heading PWC scholarship. Attach your letter of recommendation to the email and send it to scholarship@petalumawomansclub.com

The PWC Scholarship Committee ranks the candidates objectively on their desire to give back or make a contribution to the community, country, and/or world, their track record of community involvement, their financial needs, and their career goals.

All scholarship applicants will be notified in March 2026. Scholarship recipients and their parents will be invited for recognition to both our Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 and our Thursday, April 16, 2026 Scholarship Awards dinner meeting.

Scholarships are awarded through the Petaluma Woman’s Club Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)3 California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation.
