Clothing and Accessories Swap

Do you have clothes or accessories you no longer wear?  Or have you changed sizes lately and need a new wardrobe?  This event will include a clothing and accessory swap, which gives you a chance to clean your closets and “shop for free”.  Win, win!

NOTE:  Early start time of 6:00 pm so that we have time to exchange!

RSVP by Saturday, January 11th.  Vegetarian option available for dinner, please indicate with your RSVP.

The clothing and accessory exchange will work as follows:
Members are invited to bring up to 5 clothing items, along with unlimited accessories (scarves, belts, hats, purses, jewelry). Please make sure the items are in good shape and clean.
NO SHOES, SWIMSUITS or UNDERCLOTHING please!
– You may bring your donations on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. (preferred) or Thursday at 6 p.m. when you arrive for dinner. If it’s an item that should be hung, please bring it on a hanger
– The committee will organize the items on tables for browsing during the 6-6:30 social time
– BYOB (bring your own bag) for shopping purposes
– After dinner is complete, you will be able to begin” shopping”.
From that time until 8:30, members are welcome to shop for the number of items that corresponds to the number of donations they made. This will work on the honor system, and please be courteous to others if there are items that more than one person wants.
– Starting at 8:30 – members are welcome to shop for additional items from what’s left
– After 9 p.m. – The remainder will be bagged and donated to local charities
There will be screens provided for those who want to try on clothes. Rooms upstairs may also be used, but the main restroom should not be used as a changing room.
